Recently, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi called for the formation of a nation-wide Coalition of States to prevent the mutilation of American children.
The answer to that call – the Cornerstone Standard Coalition of States — launched from the Rotunda of the Minnesota Capitol in May 2024 – is the very mechanism that can accomplish Bondi’s goal nationwide!
Read on to learn more about the Cornerstone Standard Coalition of States which is an appeal to the great heart of our nation to build a national consensus to protect the children of America.
2023 – Legislation Passed Making Minnesota an Abortion and Trans Refuge State
First, we have to jump back to 2023, to remind ourselves of how the Democrat Trifecta passed laws which effectively made Minnesota an Abortion and Trans Refuge State in which parental rights can be stripped away and their children mutilated by so-called gender affirming care. The Democrat controlled legislature also made moves to begin the process of normalizing pedophilia.
As Citizens of Minnesota, we are at the forefront of an evil progressive wave seeking to take out the next generation and overthrow America’s Christian values. How are we going to respond?
In the face of historic evil is an opportunity for historic righteousness!
Whether it’s the gender fluid ideologies in the proposed Health Standards in education or the potential for gender “destroying” care in medicine, we must not simply sit back and allow this evil agenda to steamroll over the next generation!
We must resist this onslaught by standing up, speaking out, and uniting to form a bulwark of resistance. The Cornerstone Standard Coalition of States is a mechanism that will enable us to form this line of resistance across the nation.
2025 – President Trump’s Administration Taking a Stand Against Gender Mutilation of Minors
Jump forward to 2025, and gratefully, we have a Presidential Administration that is taking a strong stance against gender mutilation of minors. Last week, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi issued subpoenas for doctors performing trans-surgeries on minors. Bondi stated: “Medical professionals and organizations that mutilated children in the service of a warped ideology will be held accountable by this Department of Justice.” You can read more in this Alpha News article, originally authored by Bill Pan of the Epoch Times: DOJ subpoenas doctors, clinics performing child transgender operations.
Bondi’s actions are in complete alignment with President Trump’s executive order “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation,” which states:
“It is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called “transition” of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures.”
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi is calling for a Coalition of States to unite to protect children across the nation.
In addition to going after medical providers who practice gender “destroying” care on minors, Attorney General Pam Bondi is also calling for the establishment of a “Federal & State Coalition of States Against Child Mutilation.” The memorandum by Bondi reads:
“Federal law enforcement must stand ready to assist states that prioritize children’s health over ideology. Accordingly, the Department is launching the Attorney General’s Coalition Against Child Mutilation. Through this Coalition, I will partner with state attorneys general to identify leads, share intelligence, and build cases against hospitals and practitioners violating federal or state laws banning female genital mutilation and other, related practices. The Department will support the state-level prosecution of medical professionals who violate state laws that protect children, such as Alabama’s Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act, 22 which makes it a felony for doctors to treat children with puberty blockers or hormones to affirm a gender identity inconsistent with biological sex.”
Fortunately, the foundation for the formation of a Coalition of States has already been laid right here in Minnesota, in the very belly of the beast!
2024 – Launch of Cornerstone Standard Coalition of States from Minnesota State Capitol Rotunda
Just one year ago, on May 9th, 2024, in the rotunda of the Minnesota State Capitol, a brave cohort of citizens, including former Minnesota State Senator Dan Hall of the Truth Report, Dale Witherington of Restore Minnesota, Pastor Daren Mehl, as well as myself, Karin Miller of Faith in Action, supported this effort which was spearheaded by Representative Walter Hudson and joined by a large number of the members of the Republican delegation at the Minnesota Legislature.
We recognized the evil nature of the mounting assault against the next generation in our state which seeks to mutilate children both inside and outside the womb and decided to take action to raise up a defense on their behalf.
Thus, together in the rotunda of our State Capitol, we announced a “Declaration of Purpose calling for the formation of The Cornerstone Standard Coalition of States.” You can read the full Declaration HERE, and you can watch a recording of the speakers from this Rotunda launching event HERE.
The Government only has power because of the consent of the People. The protection of children is an issue so fundamental that to whatever extent a government fails to protect and instead brings harm to children, the social contract is broken. Read this excerpt from the Declaration below:
“One of many developments which makes the formation of The Coalition so urgent is that multiple States have taken the position that a child can be transported or lured from a State where so-called “transgender healthcare” is banned to a State where it is allowed and this child can be given puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and so-called transgender surgeries while still a minor—and parents who would object can have their parental rights taken away by the courts in those so-called Sanctuary States.
The powers of government implied or directly asserted in this horrendous so-called transgender healthcare sanctuary legislation are so vast and all-encompassing that they constitute a mold from which the currency of our nation’s future would be forever minted—a currency utterly devoid of anything remotely resembling the protections guaranteed to the citizens of our Republic by the Constitution of the United States of America. If our citizenry had no rights whatsoever, it would be difficult to imagine anything worse befalling them—as the result of governmental action— than to have their children be forcibly taken and mutilated.”
Thus, Article I of the Cornerstone Standard cited in the Declaration reflects the very first priority of the Coalition of States which is the protection of children from mutilation.
Article 1
- “It is a serious criminal offense to administer so-called “transgender healthcare” to minors—which is mutilation, whether by pharmaceutical or surgical means such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones or disfiguring & debilitating surgeries.
- We believe that criminal laws should be passed and enforced against those who perpetrate these serious crimes. [The criminal laws protecting children from mutilation would not apply to the exceedingly-rare cases where medical procedures are necessary to treat children born with Disorders of Sexual Development (DSD) such as ambiguous genitalia or other congenital malformations.]
- We intend to form a coalition among the States and Counties of this nation who hold these beliefs in common cause to protect children from the perpetrators of these crimes and punish—to the full extent of the law—those who commit them.”
Unfortunately, in Minnesota the social contract has been shattered by our Minnesota State Legislature passing bills in 2023 that essentially designated Minnesota as both an abortion and a trans refuge state.
Children are NOT safe in Minnesota! – Not our own children, nor children who are brought across our borders by adults who are seeking to rip them from the womb or give them access to medical “care” that will literally mutilate their bodies.
Minnesota’s blatant disregard for the medical laws and child custody policies of other states is in defiance of Article IV of the Constitution which obligates States to respect each other’s sovereignty.
Thus, as Attorney General Pam Bondi pointed out, there is a GREAT need for the formation of a national Coalition of States to unite as a bulwark to protect children.
This Coalition will involve legislative, medical, legal, and law enforcement professionals from around the country – plus thousands of parents and everyday citizens – all who commit to taking action to protect children against those who would seek to medically mutilate them.
For example, under the Coalition of States initiated in Minnesota, if a child from South Dakota is lured to Minnesota and mutilated, the Cornerstone Coalition of States would arrest the perpetrators—if those perpetrators were to be found within the borders of ANY of the Coalition States—and be extradited to South Dakota for trial.
Unfortunately, due to Minnesota’s laws, the Coalition would not have jurisdiction to arrest perpetrators who mutilate children who are residents of Minnesota. However, it is our great hope that the formation of this Coalition of States among Minnesota’s neighboring states and throughout the nation would bolster support for the Coalition states that are protecting children, while also steadily choke off the support for child mutilation, plus motivate the Minnesotan legislature to change their increasingly unpopular and barbaric laws.
